Online-support group for farming's 'accidental counsellors'

The University of Exeter and Farming Health Hub have created a new online resource hub, aimed at helping people in the winder industry, who work with farmers and often find themselves 'lending a listening ear', feel more confident about supporting the well-being of their clients.

It is targeted support for accountants, land agents, vets, or feed suppliers, who often find themselves providing more than just professional expertise to farmers, but find it difficult to know how to offer them the best help

The website provided a range of guidance, contacts and information about relevant training to help people signpost farmers to the most appropriate source of support.
