RSABI launches new mental wellbeing app for farmers

A new app offering free mental health care and advice to farmers, is being rolled out by the Royal Scottish Agricultural Benevolent Institution (RSABI), following 12 months of trials with three young farmers clubs.

Known as Thrive Wellbeing, the app is NHS digitally compliant, and includes access to a live in-app chat feature, which puts people in rural communities in touch with qualified therapists at the press of a button.

It also offers a range of supportive options, including resources on mindfulness, relaxation techniques and cognitive behavioural therapy.
