An act of fly-tipping in Aberdeen has been branded “dangerous” after it blocked a busy road.
Aberdeen City Council carried out a clean-up operation on Monday after a large amount of litter had been dumped in the middle of Overton Road.
A digger cleared up the mess, which included paving slabs, building rubble, black bin bags, and dirt.
Aberdeen City Council operational delivery convener councillor Philip Bell said it was one of the most ‘dangerous’ instances of fly-tipping he has seen.
He said: “This is one of the most dangerous instances of fly-tipping we have seen in the area, fly-tipping is very unsightly, causes distress to local residents, and is illegal.
