Sheep 'butchered' in Surrey field as police launch investigation to find culprit
Police are appealing for witnesses after a lamb was stolen and sheep “butchered” in a Dorking field. The incident involving the livestock occurred around the hamlet of Forest Green with officers from Surrey Police receiving a report about it on Friday (July 22).

Witness appeal following serious assault and catalytic converter theft
Police were called to Victoria Road in Staines just after 8pm last night (16 March) following several reports that a group of four men were stealing catalytic converters at the location. A man confronted the suspects and was attacked. He sustained serious facial injuries, including a suspected fractured eye socket, and injuries to his hand and fingers. He is currently receiving treatment in hospital, but his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

Disqualified driver sentenced for stealing cattle trailer
A 31-year-old man from Oxford Road, Gerrard's Cross has been sentenced to six and a half months in prison for stealing a cattle trailer as well as driving while disqualified and without third party insurance.
