‘Distressing incident’: Deer decapitated and left on manure pile

A FAMILY of deer were found decapitated and left on a manure pile on Wednesday evening.

Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward after the deer were found dead in Colehill.

During the morning of Wednesday, August 17, deer heads were found discarded on a manure pile in a field in the area of Colehill Lane.

Police Constable Kate Schofield, of the Rural Crime Team, said: “We are carrying out enquiries and would urge anyone with information to please get in touch.
