A GENERATOR has been stolen from a farm building in the Llangollen area.

North Wales Police's Rural Crime team is investigating the incident which they say took place in an 'isolated area' in the Ceiriog Valley.

They added that the generator was stolen over this past weekend.

Police are now encouraging residents living in that area to 'secure' their properties in order to deter potential thieves.

A statement from North Wales Police read: "The Rural Crime team are investigating the theft of a generator from a farm building in an isolated area in the Ceiriog Valley. The offence took place over this last weekend.

"We would remind you all to secure your property, put them out of sight and take whatever security measure you can with a view to deterring similar offences.
