Police say it follows similar thefts in Dorset in recent months
Around 100 Western Red Cedar trees have been stolen from a village near Dorchester.
They've been dug up from a large plantation at Long Bredy in recent weeks, and taken away from the site.
Dorset Police say four rows of trees have been affected, and each of them is around a metre tall, having been growing on site for the last five years.
Officers from the Rural Crime Team also say there's been a couple of similar thefts in recent months.
Young trees have been stolen from East Lulworth and Winterbourne Kingston.
