Appeal after teens steal cash and a cannonball from Deal Museum

Cash and a cannonball were stolen from a museum on the day of the King’s coronation.

Two teenage girls were seen “confidently walking” into Deal Museum before stealing a donation box and the real cannonball.

Kathryn Reilly, co-chairman at the museum, said the pair joked loudly about what they had done.

She said: “A donation box with about £10 in was taken from the museum and smashed open.
