A man has been arrested in connection with the theft of a herd of cattle from a farm on Anglesey last year. A total of 14 cows worth around £20,000 were reported stolen on Saturday, December 10 last year.

The cows were stolen from a shed on the farm located on the outskirts of Llanerch-y-Medd. Since the report was made, police said an extensive investigation has been underway by the force's rural crime team.

That investigation resulted in raids on Wednesday, April 12 at two farms in Stoke-on-Trent. The rural crime team were working alongside the drone unit and officers from Stoke, Cheshire Rural Crime Team and the National Vehicle Crime Intelligence Service.
