Fire crews across Dorset and Wiltshire had to tackle ten fires in one day - one of which was a large barn fire.
A large barn near Marlborough holding hundreds of tonnes of straw and machinery required crews from eight fire stations.
At 4.23pm on Sunday (May 8) the fire service was called with reports of a large barn on fire in Aldbourne.
Crews from from Swindon, Stratton, Pewsey, Chippenham, Devizes, Royal Wootton Bassett, Hungerford and Reading were mobilised.
They found a large barn storing 300 tonnes of straw, together with a tractor and a baler.
A watching brief will be monitoring the incident overnight to prevent fire spread.
By 7pm the fire was under control and two pumps stayed through the night to watch for hot spots and prevent the fire spreading.
A second barn caught fire that same day in Halstock, near Yeovil.
At 6.45pm crews from Yeovil and Beaminster were sent to a two storey barn that had caught fire.
It was used as a studio and for storage.
Firefighters used a hose reel jet and cut away to get the fire under control.
