A BURNLEY man is set to appear in court following an alleged theft from a building site.

Nicholas Green, 34, of Tarren Grove, Burnley, has been charged with theft and summoned to appear before Blackburn Magistrates' Court on Thursday, April 21.

Green being charged comes following an investigation by police into the aleged theft of Ifor Williams trailer ramps from a rural building site in the Knowles Brow area of Clitheroe in September 2021.

A spokesperson for Lancashire Constabulary said: “This investigation was based on information and intelligence provided to us by the rural community.
