A cow has narrowly avoided a laceration to major arteries after a suspected injury to her throat from a gate.
Wyvern Farm Vets - based East Somerset and Wiltshire - said they were called out on Thursday (January 11) after a cow had sustained a deep wound injury which came within 20cm from the nearby mandibular and maxillary arteries.
