Criminal damage to vehicles Seaton

We have been investigating criminal damage to vehicles in Seaton which occurred on 25 February.

We received reports that young people had been kicking the wing mirrors off at least four vehicles on Barncroft Avenue, Seaton, causing an estimated £500 worth of damage.

Two young people have been identified and Allerdale Neighbourhood Policing team are to conduct some visits and intervention with those concerned to prevent further criminality. They will also aim to educate those responsible regarding the impact their behaviour has on the victims of crime and anti-social behaviour.

We are aware of ongoing issues with anti-social behaviour and crime in Seaton and have increased patrols in the area to address this.
