A MAN accused of hunting a wild fox with a dog has appeared in court today.

Mark Anthony Pearson, of Child Okeford, appeared at Weymouth Magistrates Court today to plead not guilty to one count of hunting a wild mammal with dogs.

Pearson, aged 64, is accused of hunting a fox with a dog on December 13 last year at Bere Down Farm on Bere Down Lane in Bere Regis and that the hunting was not exempted by Schedule 1 to the Hunting Act 2004.
