More than 30 cars were stopped and some drivers had their vehicles seized as part of a police crackdown on rural crime in Northumberland.
Operation Redwood was launched across the Northumbria force last week and saw teams of officers seize drugs, weapons and even suspected stolen jet skis on roads in Alnwick, Corbridge and Otterburn.
Police stopped any vehicles that they believed may be associated with rural acquisitive crime including wildlife and poaching offences, as well as anything else that roused suspicion.
