Following an investigation by Thames Valley Police’s Rural Crime Taskforce, two people have been sentenced for driving offences in Great Shefford, West Berkshire and Wantage.

William Lee, aged 45 and Sally Priest, aged 47, both of White Horse, Uffington, pleaded guilty to the offences at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on Thursday (18/5).

Lee admitted driving otherwise in accordance with a licence and driving without insurance and Priest was convicted of permitting William Lee to drive a motor vehicle without insurance and permitting a driver to drive a vehicle otherwise than in accordance with a licence.

Lee was disqualified from driving for 12 months and was fined £258, while Priest was banned from driving for six months and also fined £258.
