Police have launched an appeal to make three bikes 'too hot to handle' after they were stolen from a campervan passing through Durham as part of a family holiday.

Durham Constabulary have asked the public to share information about the theft as far and wide as possible so as to get the bikes back to the family as soon as possible for them to enjoy the rest of their trip.

The bikes were stolen from a campervan that was parked on Orchard Drive in Durham some time between 2.58pm and 4.45pm yesterday (Saturday 11 March).
