Firefighters called to fire in farm outbuilding in Byley

FIRE crews have been tackling a large blaze involving tyres and timber at a farm outbuilding in Byley, Middlewich, this afternoon, Monday.

Shortly after 2.35pm, firefighters were called to King Street after reports of a fire at a farm on a route from Middlewich to Northwich.

Four fire engines are in attendance, one from Northwich, one from Crewe and two from Winsford.

Individuals reported seeing clouds of black smoke coming from the affected site.
