The family that runs a popular Lincolnshire family park has been left feeling 'angry and heartbroken' after valuable equipment, tools and vehicles were stolen in the dead of night. Between midnight and 4am on Monday, August 8, thieves reportedly broke into the grounds of Tattershall Farm Park and stole drills, screwdrivers, saws, chainsaws, hedge cutters, jerry cans and even the farm quad bike.
"You name it, they took it," farm owner Marie Morrell said. She estimated the cost of replacing all of the stolen equipment would set the family back about £30,000.
The family took over the farm seven years ago and it's been a family effort to build it up "effectively from scratch". Marie's husband James recently left his job so he could come full-time on the farm and their young children Amber, 10, and William, eight, were always excited to help out where they could.
