Police are urging Helensburgh and Lomond residents to help officers tackle rural crime.
The cost of rural theft increased sharply last year, with criminals targeting the likes of high-value machinery.
However, police have been making efforts to encourage people living in rural areas to report suspicious incidents.
A spokeswoman said: “This helps build up a picture as to where the majority of rural crime is being committed, allowing focused and proactive policing in these areas.”
