A fly-tipper has left residents struggling to get out of their road after dumping this huge pile of rubbish early today.
Families say the mound appears to contain nails, glass, plastic, shredded materials and other unsightly waste.
They spotted it this morning on the corner of Sandon Road, in Cresswell, near Blythe Bridge, and a track leading to six properties. The site is just beyond Rookery Crescent.
Steve Mountford, who lives in nearby Saverley Green, drove past the fly-tipped waste and couldn’t believe his eyes.
He said: “It’s atrocious. It’s all along the track. People would think it’s disgusting if they saw it.
“I’ve been advised by a neighbour, who went down there, that it contains nails, glass and plastic. It looks like it’s come from a landfill site.”
He fears motorists trying to drive round it could get their tyres punctured with nails.
