Hunt saboteur video shows men 'fleeing from badger sett' as police investigate

North Wales Police have confirmed they are investigating reports of two men allegedly disturbing a badger sett near the border with England. Campaigners at the Hunt Saboteurs Association (HSA) claimed that a video showed two men fleeing after being confronted at a badger sett near Whitchurch in Shropshire.

The group claimed that the footage, which was captured on February 3, showed the men blocking a badger sett in preparation for a hunt the following day. The video showed two men confronted by campaigners and fleeing the woodland on a quad bike.

Campaigners claimed the men were attempting to "block badger setts to prevent foxes escaping hounds". The activists said they were "fed up with the constant interference and blocking up of badger setts".
