A lorry crash on the M18 has left a "massacre" of dead pigs scattered across the road.
The vehicle, which was carrying livestock, spilled some of its cargo during the crash with multiple eyewitnesses reporting multiple dead pigs littered across the tarmac, HullLive reported.
According to eyewitnesses, the crash saw the roof of the lorry, containing the livestock, ripped off which resulted in the dead pigs on both sides of the motorway.
At the time there were five miles of traffic from the M62 interchange heading eastbound, however, it is understood that no members of the public have been seriously injured in the crash.
Speaking about the incident on a Goole Facebook page, Annie Hollowell said: "My fiancé is currently on this. There's been lorries and a car involved.
