Two people have been arrested after a series of burglaries.

The arrests come after a joint investigation by Wiltshire Police and Dorset Police, who have been investigating a number of non-dwelling burglaries, including in and around the south of Wiltshire and the A36 corridor around Warminster.

A 25-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman were arrested in Dorset today (Tuesday, July 12) in connection with these offences. They are currently in police custody awaiting interview.

Detective Sergeant Darren Penny, from the Op Fortitude team, who have been working with Dorset Police, said: "This is a fantastic example of cross-border policing, with our officers working closely with their counterparts at Dorset Police to link these offences together and identify suspects.
