Following an investigation by Thames Valley Police’s Rural Crime Taskforce, a man has been charged in connection with a wildlife crime incident in Abingdon.

Mark Flintham, aged 54, from Abingdon but of no fixed abode, was charged with one count of causing unnecessary suffering to a protected animal on 18 January.

The charge relates to an incident where an offender killed a goose and walked off with it in the Abbey Meadows area at around 3pm on 10 August last year.
