A man is due in court after a reported theft of a 14-tonne trailer from a farm. It comes after officers were called to reports of the incident in Upper Broughton, Rushcliffe, at around 4.30pm on February 20.

This has prompted a complex investigation, Nottinghamshire Police said. Rushcliffe South Neighbourhood Policing Team worked with the local community and pursued a number of leads as part of the investigation.

Inspector Rob Lawton, Neighbourhood Policing Inspector for Rushcliffe, said: “This was a complex investigation but I am pleased that with the support of the community the suspect for this rural crime will now be brought before the courts.
