An Oxfordshire man has been handed a suspended prison sentence and unpaid work after he was found in possession of a knife. Levi Grant, aged 45, was arrested and charged on on Wednesday, April 26.
Appearing at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, April 27, Grant pleaded guilty to one count of possession of a bladed article in a public place and was given an 18-week prison sentence, suspended for 12 months.
He was also ordered to complete 100 hours of unpaid work and fined £239. It was also ordered that the knife was forfeited and destroyed.
