More than £25k-worth of GPS trackers stolen

Police are currently investigating a series of thefts of GPS trackers across rural locations in Staffordshire.
More than £25,000-worth of GPS receivers and screens have been reported stolen in the last 30 days.
Yesterday (Monday 4 April), it was reported that approximately £10,000 worth of GPS devices were stolen from two tractors parked at a premises on Stafford Road, Stone.
The theft is believed to have taken place at some point between Tuesday (20 March) and Monday (4 April).
Last month, four similar incidents were reported across Burton-upon-Trent, Newcastle-under-Lyme and Stafford.
A total of £15,000-worth of GPS devices were stolen near Little Onn Road, Stafford on 10 March, Wharmadine Lane, Newcastle-under-Lyme on 25 March, Willoghbridge Lane, Newcastle-under-Lyme on 25 March and Duffield Lane, Burton-upon-Trent on 29 March.
Seven tractors were damaged as a result of offenders forcing entry to the vehicles in the thefts.
