Naked jogger previously seen in the Peak District spotted after three-year break

Staffordshire

Date of alert:

Friday, 19 May 2023

Crime Ref:

Force:

Staffordshire Police

A jogger, who was notorious for only wearing a bum-bag whilst running through parts of the Peak District, appears to have been spotted again. Multiple sightings of the infamous nude runner had been reported back in August 2020, including in the appropriately-named village of Flash in the national park.

Other Peak District beauty spots he had been seen at included the Roaches, the Danebridge Trail near Lud's Church, the Manifold Trail, and Three Shires Head in Axe Edge Moor between Leek and Buxton. Further afield, the same man - sporting a bum bag and little else - was also seen in the Goyt Valley near Buxton.

And now that it seems that the weather has warmed up once again, the jogger has put his running shoes back on - but nothing else. A similar-looking man was seen in National Trust woodlands at Alderley Edge in Cheshire by a man and his partner at around 6.30pm on May 16, reports Stoke-on-Trent Live.
