Newark Police appeal for information after death of fox at Beacon Hill Nature Reserve, Newark

Officers are appealing for information after a fox was found dead at a nature reserve.

Newark Police spotted a the dead fox laid on a path a Beacon Hill Nature Reserve, Newark, while searching for off-road bikes.

“We suspect that an off-road bike has been used to hit the fox which has caused extreme unnecessary suffering to the animal and ultimately caused its death,” said a police spokesman.
