Nore Marsh Road traffic update as tractor hit telegraph pole

A tractor towing a trailer full of hay has hit a telegraph pole in Royal Wootton Bassett.

Fortunately there were no injuries in the accident which took place on the Nore Marsh Road at 11.19am this morning (Thursday).

The fire service reported that the trailer was loaded with 20 tonnes of hay when the tractor towing it hit the telegraph pole.

Police have closed the road for the recovery the tractor and trailer and a crew from Westlea Fire Station provided scene safety.
