Nottinghamshire Police community engagement day to take place showcasing all things rural at Newark Showground on the Easter weekend

People from areas of Nottinghamshire are invited to attend a community engagement day to showcase all things rural.

The big event organised by Nottinghamshire Police is a great way to showcase all the work being done to tackle rural crime and how they work with partners to do this.

Visitors can expect a host of demonstrations, stalls advertising other agencies and the chance to watch first-hand how equipment is used.

The event is open for the whole family to attend on Saturday, April 16, between 10am and 2pm at Newark Showground.

Those attending will be able to watch drone demonstrations, get a behind-the-scenes look at the police vehicles and quad bikes with local beat officers also on hand for locals to speak with.
