Following an investigation, officers from the Staffordshire Moorlands neighbourhood policing team have returned three stolen go-karts to their owners.

It is believed they were stolen from the Hillside Industrial Estate area of Cheadle, between 10pm on Saturday (19 March) and 6am on Sunday (20 March).

PC Mark Garsden, the officer in charge of the case, said: “Officers investigating the theft of three go-karts from a business in Cheadle have successfully located and returned stolen property to the owners.

“We have received fantastic assistance and support from members of the public and business owners around the Hillside Industrial Estate, and the wider community at large.

“The Staffordshire Moorlands neighbourhood policing team would like to convey our gratitude to the local community and businesses who have provided CCTV footage and information – leading to the recovery of the go-karts in Longton.
