Offroad Bikes Seized In Cumbria

Egremont

Following a number of recent reports of illegal dirt bikes being used in and around the Egremont area, a zero-tolerance policy is now in a place.

On 22 March, we seized a dirt bike in the area of Jubilee Garage.

The bike was removed from use and the rider was reported for driving other than accordance with a license and for no insurance.

Frizington

We received reports of off-road bikes on the Winder cycle path near Frizington on the afternoon of the 5 March.

Local PCSO's attended the area and seized the a bike (pictured). The bike was later reported as having been taken without consent from a property in Cleator Moor.
