Oxfordshire stop and search of potential drug dealer leads to over £2k found

Between £2000 and £3000 was seized in a stop and search in Thame.
Thames Valley Police Rural Crime Taskforce stopped, searched and arrested a man suspected of supplying class A drugs, being in possession of criminal property, and of 'further offences'.
The force did this using Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR), which a technology to help spot criminal activity by checking a number plate against a police database.
The Domestic Abuse Investigation Unit was also investigating.
The force tweeted: "Whilst our officers are primarily focused on #TVPRural Crime, we have a team of officers with a variety of skills and equipment including; Licensed Search Officers, Drone Pilots, ANPR and off road vehicles that can support all of TVP's local policing areas."
