Partner agencies across Cleveland are working together to prepare for Storm Dudley and Storm Eunice and the weather warnings in place this week.

Under the banner of the Local Resilience Forum (LRF), multi-agency meetings have taken place to ensure a coordinated response to help vulnerable people impacted by the strong winds and storm conditions.

Storm Dudley is expected to impact the Cleveland area from this afternoon, with potential 60-70mph gusts and Storm Eunice is going to impact much of the UK on Friday. Agencies across the area will prioritise incidents to get to those most in need and the communities most impacted from the weather.

Chair of the LRF, Tony Hanson, said: “Agencies working as part of the Local Resilience Forum have been preparing for both storms and the increase in demand from the public that comes from weather incidents of this nature.
