AN individual caused unnecessary suffering to an otter in the Bradford district earlier this week.

The offence occurred in Baildon over the past weekend but no arrests were made.

A French Bulldog is still missing after it was stolen in the BD8 area - which includes Manningham, Girlington, White Abbey, Lower Grange, Four Lane Ends, Whetley, Longlands, West Park, Rhodesway, Crossley Hall and Belle Vue.

The two incidents are part of West Yorkshire Police's Wildlife & Rural Crime unit's weekend sweep.

In total, 80 incidents took place over the two days.

43 of these were dog-related, which includes them biting, being dangerous, or loose.

16 loose horses and 10 loose farm animals were also recorded.

Two Patterdale/Manchester Terriers were stolen in a burglary on Saturday in Knottingley.
