We're reminding people to please take care around livestock - and remember your conduct in the countryside can have consequences.
Last month our PCSOs came across a herd of cows on the road at Yanwath and had to herd them back into a field before the farmer came to help.
This was due to walkers leaving field gates open.
This month we've also had an increased amount of reported sheep worrying incidents.
As it has been lambing season, there are more lambs in the fields which means it is imperative that all dogs are kept on a lead at all times when walking through fields with sheep in.
Other wildlife incidents
There has been a notable increase in poaching, lamping and hare-coursing incidents in Eden this month.
We are keen to identify any suspicious people and vehicles so that we can build up the intelligence picture and take action against offenders. So please keep reporting suspicious activity to us.
