Atherstone and Coleshill Police say a stinger popped the tyres on the Seat car - but the suspects tried to flee across 'boggy marsh land'
Suspected car thieves led police on a chase before being caught in muddy field. It was a police dog that eventually caught up with the pair after they fled across what police have described as 'boggy marsh land'.
Atherstone Police say that they were alerted by West Midlands Police colleagues that a stolen vehicle was heading into the north Warwickshire. Officers from Coleshill Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT), Rural Crime and Operational Patrol Unit (OPU) sprung into action and started to look for the white Seat car.
