Police discover 'Aladdin's cave' of stolen construction equipment near Godmanchester

A number of stolen tools were discovered in a van near Godmanchester. Cambridgeshire Police posted a number of pictures on social media showing what they described as "an Aladdin's cave" of looted construction equipment.

Officers from the Rural Crime Action Team along with CanTrack Global Ltd were able to locate the items. They were believed to have been taken very recently from an address in Sussex.

With help from the Roads Policing Unit, a man was later arrested for transporting linked stolen property. The equipment was then returned to its original owners.
