Police end case into robbery of child on Norfolk rural path

Police have closed an investigation into the assault and robbery of a child after a picture appeal failed to lead to new lines of enquiry.

The alleged attack happened in Nordelph Corner in Hardingham, near Wymondham, at about 7am on September 23 last year.

The child suffered minor injuries after being assaulted by a woman who then stole a mobile phone.

Police said they wanted to speak to a woman aged between 40 and 50 who was wearing a black anorak, a grey beanie hat and glasses in connection with the incident.
