Police are hunting for a suspected arsonist in Chipping Norton.

Thames Valley Police have issued an appeal for witnesses after a barn was set on fire on Wards Road.

The blaze began at around 5:15pm on Wednesday, July 20.

Firefighters were quick to react and put the fire out.

TVP's West Oxfordshire team took to social media to launch an appeal for information.

The post by PC Shayler, of the rural crime task force, read: "On Wednesday 20th July 2022 at around 17:15hrs a barn on Wards Road, Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire has been set on fire.
