THE theft of 38 pregnant sheep from a farm in Powys is being investigated by police.

Dyfed Powys Police’s Rural Crime Team said the Welsh Mule ewes were stolen from farm fields in the Llanfilo area, near Brecon, sometime between the end of February and start of March.

“We are investigating the theft of 38 pregnant Welsh Mule ewes, stolen from farm fields in the Llanfilo area, Breconshire, between end Feb - start of March,” said the force in a Twitter post.
