POLICE have launched an appeal for information after a horse was allegedly stolen from a farm and returned to its owner with injuries.
Rural crime officers say that the horse was taken from a property in the Waterston area near Dorchester between 7.30pm on Saturday, August 6, and the morning of Sunday, August 7. Four head collars were also reportedly stolen.
One of the collars was bright red with the word ‘Diamonte’ on the nose band and navy blue padding. Another was leather and a third was bright green with ‘Thistle’ on the green lead rope. The final stolen collar was a mint green or grey colour with a pale blue lead rope.
