The initiative, backed by Police and Crime Commissioner Joy Allen’s ‘Safer Streets’ funding, is set to enhance the safety and security of rural and urban fringe communities. £205k has been allocated to exclusively tackle rural crime which represents the largest funding grant to date dedicated to combatting rural crime.
