Police night patrols after farm gate and quad bike thefts

North Wales Police have carried out night patrols and issued advise for farmers and quad bike owners after several recent thefts.
Five quad bikes have been stolen in the past eight weeks, all from the Meirionydd area, as well as 10 gates and sheep hurdles over this past weekend in the Denbigh moors area.
PCSO Iwan Jones of the Rural Crime Team, said: “Anyone who owns a quad bike should consider installing a tracker device, secure their bikes away when not in use and place in a padlocked unit.
