Dogs and vehicles have been seized during police and RSPCA raids in Conwy and Llandudno yesterday. The raids followed concerns for animal welfare.
Three warrants were executed in the areas and video footage by North Wales Police showed officers using bolt cutters to gain access through a metal fence in the dark at one of the properties. Dogs being kept in an outside yard, with one on a chain and another in a kennel are also filmed, before the two are shown placed in the back of a waiting vehicle.
A North Wales Police Rural Crime Team spokesman said: "We have today executed search warrants in the Conwy and Llandudno areas, in partnership with RSPCA Cymru inspectors. The three warrants, supported by our colleagues from the Cheshire Police Rural Crime Team came following animal welfare concerns relating to dogs.
