POLICE patrols have been launched in two towns following reports of criminal damage on agricultural land.

Yesterday (May 1), officers were patrolling areas including Bridport and Beaminster following reports of anti-social behaviour.

In response, police are urging the public to keep reporting to police if they are suspicious of behaviour they believe to be criminal or anti-social.

A spokesman from Dorset Police said: "Yesterday (May 1), we were down in the areas of Bridport and Beaminster.

"This is following reports of anti-social behaviour and criminal damage on agricultural land.

We spent the day providing hi-visibility patrols and providing crime prevention advice to the community.

"Please continue to report incidents in your communities to help us continue to tackle rural crime."
