Cumbria Police Rural Crime team held a conference this week.

This event welcomed officers from both in Cumbria and further afield, along with partners and volunteers.

The Rural Crime Conference was held at Brathay Trust and was supported by the Cumbria police and crime commissioner and attended by ACC Stalker.

A spokesperson said: "Colleagues from the North showcased how they tackle rural crime in their forces, with some great innovative ideas.

"These opportunities allow us to network adopt best practices and build long-term processes.
