SEVERAL sheep and lambs were deliberately killed at a farm in north Dorset after a vehicle entered a field last Sunday.

It is believed a vehicle deliberately trespassed into a field in the area of Tollard Royal and killed 14 sheep and lambs.

Some of the injuries are described as “horrific” and had to be shot dead.

Police describe the incident as an “appalling attack” against a “hard-working farming community and against livestock” and are appealing to the public for help in finding a culprit.

The incident happened between 7pm and 6.15am on Sunday, July 17.

PC Sebastian Haggett, from the Dorset Police Rural Crime Team, said: “We are carrying out a full investigation into this matter and I would appeal to anyone with information that may assist our enquiries, including anyone with dash cam footage, to come forward.

“It is likely that this vehicle would have obtained damage through this incident.
